It wasnt uncomfortable or anything but then when going around a corner the car would roll a good amount. The Swift springs is almost the exact opposite. They absorb all the irregularities of the road. They are really smooth on the road, but when you take a corner there is no body roll.

By planted I mean that the steering is more responsive and the car grips. It's completely level through the corners. The thing is when I purchased these springs I was really afraid of the spring rates because they are so much stiffer than anything else on the market. But they are more than daily driveable, in fact they are smoother than stock.

The only real problem with these springs is the price. they retail at 419 dollars, and I bought mine for 335 shipped.

I track my car monthly and so I am extremely impressed by the design and rates of these springs. So if you occasionally track your car and are not looking for coilovers. These are in my opinion, "coilover performance" lowering springs with comfort of daily driving in mind.

TJ- do you tracked or Autox at all?

thanks fo the input, i cannot comment on the H&R's as far as auto-x, but for DD and aesthetics the H&R's are great, no floatiness and a quicker response when turning.

The drop on the Swifts looks to be almost the same as the H&Rs, i was just wondering if there's any way to drop it a little more ?

In the STI world, we had these polyurethane top mounts made by Race Comp Engineering that would lower the car .375" without sacrificing any suspension travel. I wish we had a product like this for the Z...

does anyone else have the Swift springs installed that can post pics? I'm just not liking the drop on these from the provided pics. Need more comparrison from other cars. More pics please!

I will post pictures when my Z gets lowered on the Swift springs I ordered. It will be with stock 18s though.

tjlazer 11-12-2010 07:55 PM

yep. Love it. Drop is 1" front and .75" rear

twotonezed 11-13-2010 12:24 AM

drop?

I thought the drop on the Swift springs was 1.25" in the front and 1" in the rear. Isn't that right?
