I think he meant where the top of the strut meets the frame of the car is a thin layer of metal. This area may bend or break.

The rear SHOCK mounts are not rubber. A rubber base sits between the upper spring mount and the rear spring.

so did you seperate the spring from the strut and installed them seperately? can you post picture of your rear install?

no it's installed as a coilover unit onto the rear of the vehicle. And yes AZN370Z thats exactly what Im talking about. The frame on the vehicle will be bent from the force of both the springs and the shocks or are put where only the shocks are supposed to be.

that was my concern with this design too.

well i hope not. I think it will be ok, i just cant be hitting any pot holes i guess. In about 6 months this car will no longer be daily driven. THmotorsports said they have never had any issues with this coilover. If I see that there may be an issue, I know alot of ppl that can fabricate me something that can support it.
