bags on a Z are not my cup of tea either, but wouldn't go so far as calling it retarded..

Does anyone know if the guy that owns that car is a member here?

It's not so much the bags as it is the silly camber on the rear, mixed slightly with the stretched look. Again, that side profile looks like with the wheels.

I don't care if he's a member, I'll tell him my opinion of the look, that I think it's retarded. It's just my opinion. I respect him for doing something fun and original, even if I don't like it.

Can anyone think of a reason why a performance car needs to be on airbags?

Considering the weight and added crap needed to make them work, I say it hurts performance.

From a cool looking standpoint, sure... looks cool, if you want to look like a Lexus.

If you want it to be a show car it makes a lot of sense. 2theextreme has an air ride suspension. Lift it and ride it to the show, drop it at the show. If you bought the Z to make it a show car, it makes perfect sense.

Well sure... but I was insinuating that a Z isn't really made for that and I think a lot of members on here will agree.

To each their own though, I guess it is just personal taste.

they actually make a huge difference in performace. I think Ride Tech, or one of those guys, did a 4th gen camaro w air bags and they took it through the slolum and it makes a huge difference.

it all depends on what u want to use them for. show or go. it does weigh more but theirs pros and cons to anything you do to a car.
