Rubber spring protector

Anyone know where I could get some of those rubber spring protectors that come on springs? They usually are rubber or hard plastic and stick on a coil. I tore

Default Rubber spring protector

Anyone know where I could get some of those rubber spring protectors that come on springs? They usually are rubber or hard plastic and stick on a coil.

I tore up one of mine on a set of springs when I had the spring compressor on it, so I want to replace it with a new one as it looks like it might fall off.

Or just a guess, what about that Plastic Dip stuff that they sell to Insulate tool handles etc.. People are using that stuff to coat wheels in, might work for springs too.

liquidg- that stuff is too soft and will tear. also makes boing! noises when going over bumps because they tend to be a tad sticky. same goes for sound deadener sprays.
