^Depends on whether you want to get back to stock specs. These springs still let you get back within the factory range for camber front and rear so camber arms are not a must and tire wear will still be acceptable.

tjlazer, how's your FI exhaust holding up? I'm debating about getting these springs in combination with 245/40 & 285/35 or 275/35 & 305/30. I'm probably spamming all over the place since it's driving me nuts. I've scraped the exhaust a few times due to some crappy steep driveways, but the front bumper rarely gets scraped.

I was hoping to get these installed next monday (Jan 17), but it looks like that's not going to happen. I (also) spoke with somebody at KamiSpeed, and they told me that the springs had made it past customs in California, but still had to be delivered to them before they could turn around and ship them to me.
It's now tuesday night and my springs have not yet been shipped. :-( Not looking good.

After they're installed, I'll be more than happy to post the numbers.
I was planning to wait about 2 weeks before getting a 4-wheel alignment (give them a chance to settle in a little bit).
If I need a camber kit, I'll be SURE to let you know.

Well crap. Scrapped the cans today! Speed bump was not even that big, but I did not CRAWL over it like I usually do. Do yourself a favor and C.R.A.W.L. over every single speed bump or you can scrape the cans! Its not that bad but it still bothers me. Not sure it's even worth trying to fix it at this point. I might just paint them flat black anyway...

What part of the cans did you scrape? I've only scraped the bottom edge of the can, so it is barely noticeable. I can only imagine what it would be like after installing the springs. I wonder if Tony can retool his design to raise up the cans a bit since it seems like there is over 1" of headroom.

^^ Guys don't worry about scraping, just have Tony weld on skid plates to the exhaust cans. I had it done for me over a year ago, and have never even noticed they are there. I will be ready for when I first scrape.

It was the lowest part of the cans toward the top. Just the edge so it's not bad or anything. Another thing I noticed is there were some long scratches on the cans much higher up and there is no way the speed bump did those. I am thinking it was debris or rocks! It's gonna happen I guess, such a shame as they are so nice looking! In the end they are just exhaust cans.

In for updates after you guys put some more miles on the springs.
I also have a FI cat-back, so if any of you guys who have these springs and the same exhausts could comment on whether or not you're scraping, that would be great!

So I received these springs friday of last week and then installed them immediately after I came home. Got the car aligned at the local alignment shop and went straight to the Willow Springs the local racetrack the next morning.

For Swift, lowering the car was secondary, their priority was to get the best performance out of the springs maximizing what they can out of the stock shocks. This suspension mod is truly the cheaper alternative to coilovers.

When I first drove on them I immediately noticed that the car felt much smoother than stock. You will notice that the uneven surfaces of the road are completely soaked up. It was exactly the opposite of what I was expecting. I know, seeing that the spring rates are so high, it's hard to believe. It wasn't until I first cranked the steering wheel from side to side that I actually noticed that the spring rates were stiffer. There is almost no body roll.
It's interesting that they are able to make a lowering springs like this.

Now on the track the car felt extremely stable and goes around the corners really well. In fact they did an incredible job making the car neutral. There is almost no body roll, and the car does everything that I ask it to. The steering response was also a very noticeable difference. Through the high speed corners the car was easily adjusted through the control of the throttle. There was no understeer nor oversteer through the high speed course. It was just very controlled.

Over all I have no complaints about the springs at all.

here is what the car looks like. The rubber tophats still need to settle in still and sits a tad bit lower now. This is the perfect amount of drop Im looking for.



considering they were more than I imagined the springs to be I would rate these a solid 9.5/10
I docked the .5 out of there for the people that want to slam their cars.
Having any prob. with stock shocks??
