I have the SPC camber arms and was able to get the toe-in in spec (barely) without the toe bolts. I am thinking I will likely install the toe bolts anyway in order to have greater leeway.

I got my wheels back in spec without any other suspension mods, but its not that often that happens.

So...got my Swift Springs installed today! unfortunately... they didn't remove the front rubber insulator and place it on the Swifts. Man I even told the guy he needed to remove the rubber insulator and put it on the new Swift Springs, and there's a sheet of instructions tell the installer to move the rubber insulators over to the Swifts. Got home, opened up the Swift box with the oem springs and there they were, the rubber insulators!!!!!! The ride was perfectly fine, no metal on metal noise or anything strange but I think I'm going to call them up tomorrow and ask them to redo, I don't want some creaking noise or what not down the road. So excited yet so disappointed by the job.

Speaking of which, do you know where I can get some more rubber insulators? I don't know what they are called and have tried a number of searches under "spring bushing," "spring dampener," etc with no results.

Squeak
I have swifts and have same problem. My deriver front sits higher than passenger. Is this normal will it settle down
QUOTE=Cristobal09;1522337]I agree, the ride is definitely rougher. You arent on crack, its the same way for me. But I dont have a Nismo. I love my swifts but for some reason cannot track down the reason why they make a very slight squeaking noise from inside the cabin on the front springs when im driving real slow and when Im pulling into my driveway. If Im cruising at normal speeds I dont hear a thing. I have had them reinstalled twice, the lower "sleeve" is on there like the instructions said....not a big deal but sort of annoying when driving in parking lots.[/QUOTE] |
