Cool beans, keep in mind you might need the toe bolts. It varies between car setup, I think more on the current condition of tires. Don't forget to swap the plastic shim sitting on top of OEM springs to Swift springs to prevent squeak. Probably also need an alignment. Have fun, in for pics and review.

I got a deep discount from dealer for being a club member in Z Owners of Northern California (ZONC). After my 25% discount they ran $599 out the door, tax included for a set of 4 shocks. Koni's run about $750 from Kamispeed, a difference of $150....so why not just spring the extra $$ and go for Koni's.... See below comment.

Not in any order.

1) Price
2) Already proven to be stellar with OEM/Swift shock combo
3) Harness DD ride of Konis (personal preference).

Now the break down: I already had Koni setup on my previous 350Z paired with H&R springs and for me I was not happy with the handling/performance. Harsh ride and jumpy thru the twisties, possibly a wrong pairing, but even DD comfort was undesirable.

Swift and OEM shocks have proven by all on this thread of greatness in handling and performance. No one can understand how Swift can have such a comfortable ride yet grip in during hard cornering, call it Swift -ness in technology and R&D. The Nissan euro-tuned found on the 2013 sport 370Z has been revalved and tuned for European roads, meaning a stiffer shock. Now pair this with Swift which only perform better as the shock is stiffer. Hopefully not as stiff as Koni's for my personal taste. We will see tomorrow once they are installed on two 370Z's with identical setup's and mods.

As for price, yes a few more $$ and I could have Koni's, but as mentioned above I am looking for a different setup than Swift/Koni. So price was not a concern, except with the current economic strain on my wallet, it was an easy decision which setup to go with.

Swift / Euro-tuned combo. will tell tomorrow how they work out.
