I'm doing the FI CBE first, I might just have Seb install the Koni's when he does the CBE install.

I am considering them over aftermarket shocks currently available because the price of a set of Koni Yellows is at $750. Plus roughly $325 for Swifts totaling $1075, now it's almost at the price of a good set of coil overs.

OEM (2009) shocks run $500. Euro-Sport Tuned shocks, I am guessing will be somewhere between $600-700 tops. It will be interesting to see who will be the first to pull the trigger on this combo.

Here it is in an article: 2013 Nissan 370Z Gets Some Small Updates (The Torque Report)
Fact: confirmed source thru dealership part comparison, part number to part number comparison from 2009 versus 2013.

The ONLY suspension component parts upgraded on the 2013 are the shocks (different part #) and known fact they are euro-tuned. The springs (different part #) That's it, all the rest of the parts including damper parts are the SAME, NO CHANGE.

The claimed ride height increase is from new springs, which is irrelevant as SWIFT springs will be used.....meaning the ride will be the same on the 2009 as is on the 2013.

If you like the performance of your Swifts with OEM shocks but do not want the rough DD ride of other shocks. May want to consider this setup. Performance + great ride + cost = swift/euro-tuned combo.

I'm putting my Swifts on later today. Looking forward to the install and performance increase. Lowered height is a plus too

Thanks for the help everyone. I've had teins and BC coilovers (on other cars), but I think these Swifts will be the choice for the Z.

I spoke to the largest vendor of Swift (Kamispeed) - Bill, the other day and confirmed the euro-tuned shocks will work with Swift springs. The combo will net better performance and handling since the new shocks are stiffer.

We will see soon as it looks like I picked the only available shocks and will be mounting them in a week on both of the 2009 370Z's already riding on Swifts.

Next Sat your place, you provide the coffee, I will take care of the snacks. Master mechanic Taylor will be turning the wrench, none other than Mr onzedge's son. Only the best work on our Z's.

Is there a reason why you went with the Nissan Euro Tuned shocks over the Koni's?
