Its a financial deal...$300 vs $1000-$2000. For those looking for a slightly stiffer setup and a slight drop only, springs are a more financially smart choice.

well they do offer performance gains as well...
In fact, the 370Z Nismo RC model comes with Swifts on the fronts from the factory.

I never tried just the toe bolt, but I suppose it is possible to get it closer to spec that way than without the toe bolts... but the price for camber arms and toe bolts is so reasonable, why not have the maximum adjustability? Especially if you plan on different wheels and tires eventually. My 305's sit way different than the stock 275's did.

Not to mention that the oem/swift setup will handle better than the cheapo coilovers (<$1200). A lot of the cheaper coilovers dont have very good valving and are made primarily to go low. Not all of them, but most. Ill probably be getting coilovers in the future for aesthetics, but if I were going to track the Z I would go with some koni yellows/swift and some sway bars vs (cheaper) coilovers.

I was ready to pay to have them installed...but after reading the DIY...I gave it a shot myself and it wasn't too difficult. As long as you rent a spring compressor...you should be able to install it yourself.
I by no means consider myself handy around cars...but this wasn't too bad. I say give it a go!
