I had intentions of going to the track and I purchase r-compounds and a slightly more aggressive alignment (I can post up alignment specs when I get a chance but my rears were set at 2.7), but I killed off a whole set of tires from just dd'ing because I was a little busy with life. The wear was even through the contact patch when I replaced the tires. I think the stickier tires have something to do with it as well.
