I know most people freak out about now being able to get the camber back into factory specs, but I'm loving the fact that I can run enough camber to actually grip now. Still don't have my exact alignment dialed in, but I'm loving the improvements here.



I think I could use some spacers for the stock rims though

My thoughts on the camber exactly, turn in is much improved and the car just bites with more immediacy. It is to be expected as stock camber is adjusted for tire wear, not performance.

Yep, and that makes sense, I just wish it was slightly more adjustable from the factory.

In the middle of an install (can't finish the back because a locking nut broke on the wheel, and can't get it off), but I think I know a possible reason for those with abnormal heights. When I separated the fronts, and attempted to put the springs in the same spots as the OEM, I found out that the they don't start/stop the coils in the same spot. So, if you attempt to put the tophat in the same ending spot (on the coil), the only way to install them is to pre-load the springs, by turning the strut, and this will cause a height difference. I chose to take the strut back apart and match up the top and bottom alignments so it fit back in without any preload (and no turning), but the tophat rubber mount is not in the same place as the OEM (no biggie, I don't think).

Got the broke lugnut off, so finished it today. Took it for a spin, car rides great, and it looks great. Now I just need the bronze f14s to show up, and do an alignment.

wheee. my fender height b4 was drivers f 27 3/4 and now 27 1/8. passenger f 27 5/8 now 26 3/4. dr r was 27 5/16 now 26 3/4. pass r was 27 1/2 now 26 7/8.

I still have stock wheels on mine as well and a steep *** driveway...what's the height after the drop from the center of the wheel to the fender?
