When people say you're within spec on swift springs with no camber kit, it's more like you're maxing out on the spec. If you want to be at nominal spec, (-.67 front, -1.67 rear) then there's no doubt you will need a front and rear camber kit.
Will running slightly out of range camber have significant effects on your tire wear? I'm not convinced that's true.

As far as running slightly out of camber ranger and having significant effects on your tire wear? Only time will tell as I am going to test it and fingers crossed you are right. I am probably going to be on the max side of spec with a new set of RE-11's and will be hoping to get a good 25k off these tires that are rated for 10-12k miles. At this point in time I cannot afford $500 + install fees to bring the fronts into nominal spec range. The old saying goes "pay me now or pay me later" and dammed if I don't shell out the extra $$ for upper control arms as they are much cheaper than buying a new set of tires. So I will be in the damn'd that I did not boat. Hopefully not though! |

Also, some additional negative camber helps handling performance substantially both in feel and turn in. Stock camber is suited for long tire life, not performance.

^ Good to know. I am pleased with the performance I get by staying within a -0.3 difference between Fr -1.3 & Rr -1.0. This setup has provided performance and reasonable tire life at 26k miles. I may try a new setup this time around, more on the performance side, any suggestions?

I very rarely ever post pics. So here are some initial pics, springs had only been on for 1 day with 50 miles on them.
My setup as follows: Sport rims rolling on stock size tires Fr 245/40/19 & Rr 275/35/19 with wheel spacers @ 20mm Fr & 25mm Rr on Swift springs. Unsettled springs at 26.75" Fr & 27.00" Rr (measured from ground to fender). |

Looks good My drop seems even in the front but the passenger side rear is almost half an inch higher than the driver side. Not sure what could cause that? Anyone else have this issue? I think someone earlier in the thread had the whole passenger side slightly higher but seems to have settled for them. I've had the springs 2 weeks with over 600 miles driven so should be settled already...

My passenger side is also slightly higher, but not by half an inch. We are honored to view your rare photogasm Zforce! Looks awesome, I am strongly considering moving up to 25mm spacers in the rear.

I cannot see mine dropping to what Baer383 has (above) at .75 gap on all four corners. Can anyone confirm if they followed the same install "load the suspension when you tightened everything up" as Baer383 did? And actually what does he mean by loading up the suspension? Is what Ron suggested (above) be our solution? I did not do my own install and my installer said he did not mess with the upper control arm bolts. This still only addresses the the overall jacked up height on our cars BUT NOT the .25 higher gap on the rear passenger side. Up for discussion. |

Thanks man, wish I had your wheels.
Thanks, I pic whored a bit last night, not the best background but will do for this thread. I will try to get a few more pics with the OEM tires before they get swapped for some paws with more meat on Sat. |

Well I am not sure on this 1.5 gap still, so I am heading over to the dealership to have them check my installers work on the spring install and try to determind the cause for this high gap.

So what's the measurement from your fender to the ground through the center of the wheel? Stock height is supposed to be 27.87 in front, 27.99 in rear.
