Btw DIGItonium, whenever you get that INGS+1 kit on, can you measure how low it ends up being to the ground. I'm planning to get it eventually but wanna see how much I would scrape it up.

Those little rubber flaps in front of the tires are about 2 inches from the ground now and the sport pkg front diffuser is about 3 inches and they scrape on my driveway lol

My FI exhaust cans are now 3.5 inches from the ground and haven't scraped them yet... And on second look today, the rear camber does look like it's in the -2 degree range. I probably won't end up getting a camber kit and just live with the tire wear since it doesn't look like the wear would be much better with a 1 degree difference. We'll see how it goes after my alignment next week.

Man the car looks sweet!

In fact, I used to scrape the exhaust cans every once in awhile with the stock springs and thinner tires (285/30). I need to double check steering range with the drop and fatter tires. The FI exhaust can is about 3" off the ground.

Below are previews of the current look... higher quality pictures after getting the headlights modded, lip installed, etc.

That looks so good, sounds like a rear camber kit is all that is needed. Good to hear about the fronts at -1.6 & -1.5, that is about where I am with Eibachs and stock tires. I just finished looking at America's Tire Calculator and just punched in the 285/30/19 & 255/35/19 then read your above opinion on 285/30/19 and scraping on the driveway....ouch..looks like I will be looking for a taller tire both Fr & Rr. Yours does look perfect with 275/35 & 305/30. I have spacers so your setup will not work with mine...sigh.

Pretty much looked at all options and gonna settle on 245/40/19 & 285/35/19. Anything lower profile on the fronts will have me scraping the driveway. These have a 1.57 inch difference in section width. The stock tires difference in section width is 1.18 so I am hoping the difference will not place too much more understeer. The additional 5mm difference of the wheel spacers between Fr & Rr should compensate for the extra understeer....fingers crossed. Your car looks hawt!

Don't want to be redundant but just to clarify~ I should receive my swift's along with H&R spacers (15mm front, 20mm rear) on Monday according to FedEx.. Based on what I've read I'll more than likely need a rear camber kit but should be close enough to OEM specs with the front? Thanks to all you guys this thread has been amazing.

Sure thing, I dropped the bumper last night and test fitted the lip. I'm not exactly sure how the 3 screws fasten the lip to the bumper so I'm going to improvise by using locking washers and rubber washers through the holes for the OEM aero deflector.

After a day the springs settled some more and the camber changed a bit more. With the 305 tires, it seems like the strongest contact is on the inner half of the tire. It needs to be adjusted some more, so I'm probably going to get the camber kit and alignment done once the car gets shipped over to Baker in June.

I want more contact patch so the camber kit is definitely needed. Hopefully the SPCs offer caster adjustments as well. Yup, although the 275/35 up front is wider, it is still a tiny bit shorter than the 245/40. The 305/30 is definitely a tad shorter than 275/35 for the rear, but it is nowhere near as bad as 285/30 (poor recommendation). Trust me, I've posted in numerous threads and got scatterbrained over it. So far I'm happy with this decision, but I have only driven less than 10 mi. since I got the car back. The bumper and headlights are off so I'm going to be without the Z for awhile longer.

Here are some daytime pictures as the springs has settled a little bit more. The formula silver wheels contrast the gunmetal wheels off of tsolin01's car.

Sounds like I should just go ahead and order the rear camber arms and pop 'em in while I'm doing the spring install.

My Swift springs will arrive today! Looking forward to getting them installed on my 40th this weekend. I put 15mm spacers all around last weekend and realized I really need a drop too

Thanks for your feedback and I do trust you on not recommending the 285/30 Rr. I cannot afford to go any wider in the rear than 285/35 with my buldging 25mm spacers. And the fronts, well this time around I think I am better off with the taller stockers 245/40 for fear of sticking out too far with my 20mm spacers and most important fear of scraping up the driveway. I have the sport package +touring which comes with the lower black rubber splash guard as I call it and the front facing mud flaps..haha. They already scrape occassionaly but never has it scraped the bumber itself. I have always loved your wheels from day one. That would be one of my fisrt choices to go with my PG.

SPC Upper Coontrol Arms do have caster adjustment.....BUT....when I had them on my 350Z it was a trade off for camber...meaning if I wanted to be in OEM spec that the caster was going to be more on the forward slant...meaning high speed instalbility...which I never felt any instability at 100 + mph...but not driving at thoses speeds for any substained amount of time.

Should be ok with just rear camber kit.....dont forget to get from NICK at THMotorsports the TOE bolts....Everyone will def need them.

As far as an Upper Control Arm, I am hoping not. I am currently on Eibachs 0.09 drop Fr on stocker tire 245/40 and I am at -1.5 & -1.6 which is at the far end of OEM spec actually it's a mm out of range but that is the setup I wanted to keep the rear camber setting.

I will def post up my alignment spec sheet once I get the alignment done with my new Swift springs.

What are the Toe Bolts for? I'm going to hold off on getting a Rear Camber kit as of just yet, what to see how the alignment goes first. I have the spacers and the springs and will be installing them late tonight or tomorrow morning. Pics of a Sexy 40th coming up!
