I love my swifts but for some reason cannot track down the reason why they make a very slight squeaking noise from inside the cabin on the front springs when im driving real slow and when Im pulling into my driveway. If Im cruising at normal speeds I dont hear a thing. I have had them reinstalled twice, the lower "sleeve" is on there like the instructions said....not a big deal but sort of annoying when driving in parking lots.
I experienced the same issue and the squeaking actually went away after a few thousand miles.

I also had the same issue, I spoke to Swift and they told me the rubber compound seems to be different from car to car so it may take a while for the rubber to settle in. It seems as though mine is going away/gone as well.

Quick question...is a spring compressor needed to install these?

Yep. But you can rent a pair from Autozone. It was a $60 (if I remember correctly) deposit that you get back when you turn em back in.

Swift Springs dynoed - North American Motoring

This is why we all love swift springs!

The best in consistency, quality, weight, stroke, longevity and least amount of sag.

I have the koni/swift setup on my 2012 Z. I would say it compliments the spring very well ( Aside the minor ) weeping on my adjustment knob on my front right shocks. Anyways if anyone is thinking about purchasing the koni's dont hesitate. ( still playing with the adjustment ( rebound ) settings to suite my riding style/comfort btw i purchased and install the koni's and swift at Amplified Motorsport. Also the drop is alittle lower with this combo...but its bad AZZZ ..........

Thanks for the feedback. Please keep us posted.

I just got my Z. I'm honestly wondering if it's worth the extra expense for the Konis. That's well over a $1000 for the combo. For that kind of money, I can't ignore the fact that I'd be well into coilover territory.

The only thing is you would have a better performing spring/shock combo than most of the cheaper sets of coilovers. So you would still have better "bang for your buck".

Most cheaper coilovers have horrible damping, or at least thats what I have heard. That and you would have better springs than what would come on the coilovers as well.

Can anyone comment on the life expectancy of the stock sport shock after swift spring installation?
