The car looks real good. The drop looks real even to me.
Is there a reason why you didnt use the Nismo shocks? |

hey looks good TJ! :yum:

What kind of a difference are we looking at when comparing the Swift springs to H&R's? It seems like the H&R's offer a more pronounced drop, but they only advertise a drop that is .05" lower than the Swifts in the front. Maybe some different photo angles would answer the question better.

Also they are rated at 1.25" front and 1" rear, which is on par with H&R, isn't it? But mine are not lowering my car that much (yet) maybe when they settle more... |
WILL they settle more? 'cause i think 1.25 front and 1 rear is the sweet spot if they can settle to that. This may sway me back to springs from coilovers and i'll save money. Plus Kami Speed is local to me
|
I think so, it's usually the rubber parts settling in the top hats, etc. Thats why you are supposed to wait a few weeks before you go get an alignment.
I'm sitting at 1" lower front and .75" lower in the rear right now... driver side is a tad higher too, but that might be a good thing as I weigh 225 lbs ;) |
Ill post pics of mine soon. The drop settled a bit more. The h&rs give a raked stance, this offers a very slight raked look, but more even imo. That pesky stock wheel gap is no longer bugging me and I'm always happy to see my z's stance now

i don't think i read it in this thread, but did anyone that has installed these springs need to use a camber kit? If so, just the rear?

So you guys all think there is a big difference in quality between the H&R springs compared to the Swift springs? I was going to get the H&R springs so now after reading this thread i'm on the fence and can't decide.

This is WITH the springs installed? Still looks like a pretty sizable gap...can you take a pic showing the whole car? |
Yes that is with the springs, measured from the ground up to the center of the wheel arch.
If you are stock, can you measure your car? I'd like to see a comparison. Pics of my car are in the members gallery, no time for a photoshoot, only cell phone pics |
