Yea my fronts are 26.75 but then my driver side rear is 26.8ish and then passenger side rear is 27.2 ish... I mean the difference isn't immediately noticeable but I'm kind of wondering what might be causing it...

So that would calculate to be a difference in drop for the Front to be 1.12 drop and for the Rear it would be 0.99 drop Thanks, I can live with this as it,s only a gnats arse difference from the springs rated drop at 1.2 Front and 1.0 drop for the Rear. |

Started my install tonight. Got the fronts on and the car is back on the ground. Looks great so far, definitely a noticeable drop. Going to do the rears in the morning along with SPC camber arms. Will post up pics when its finished!

I just had the springs installed today. So far, I am enjoying the ride a lot more. Now I am just waiting to install the spacers, woohoo!

Finally got to do some driving on the new swifts. My toe is still all over the place from the install, but I love the ride. I was convinced these were massively overhyped, but they live up to most of the hype in my mind.
The ride is much better than stock on most roads (really rough ones are slightly worse, as expected), but the reduction in weight transfer side-to-side in turns in notable, as is the slight rearward shift in weight distribution. It definitely helped dial out a bit of the understeer the car tends to exhibit. |

Thanks for the writeup, it's the first I have heard of an improvement in the understeer department. An alignment should take care of any toe issues. Post up your spec sheet after you get an alignment. The Swift springs are great improvement over the stock springs.

Here's a thought on the RAISED PASSENGER SIDE REAR.
THE ISSUE: As mentioned previously by several members and including me with two 370z's sitting in my garage that the passenger rear side after install is 0.25 higher than the other threee corners. Is it possible that our cars HAVE NOT any weight (i.e. a passenger) in the passenger side of car? I noticed last night after I drove around for 20 miles with a passenger that it looks like now it has dropped to the same height as the other three corners. Just a speculation/hunch I will take another measurement and report back. EDIT UPDATE: took measurements on both cars and the passenger sides are still between .25 to .50 difference from the drivers rear. Will have to rack up some more miles with some weight on the passenger side front seat. Last edited by ZForce; 05-01-2011 at 06:41 PM. Reason: Added update |
