Carbon Ceramic Brake Rotors

Does anyone know if they sell Ceramic Brake rotors for our cars?

Reuse the ones on Audi R8 - they only cost $US12000.

High bling factor, marginal inmprovement in braking !!!

Why would you do it ??

Not just yet, but with enough real interest if could be done. We are quite some time away from having any significant cost reductions (due to the energy costs associated with making the rotors), so the costs are what they are. For reference, the upgrade system for the GT-R lists for $15,995 and includes a bit of hardware, but no calipers. The 370Z's calipers could not be used for CCM discs, so the cost would be higher. My guess? $19-20k. Still interested?

Chris
