which isnt required for camber kit

hey guys im planning to buy springs and im either gonna go with tein s techs or H&R. from these 2 which one can i go with without having to buy a camber kit? also wats recommended size for the wheel spacers for either springs?

None. Both lower more than an inch, and that usually throws off the camber bad enough that you will have more inner tire wear than normal. You could get by with a rear camber kit, I have seen people do just that. Cheaper too.

I agree, 1" in the front or anything close to 1" is definitely going to give you bad inner tire wear :-(

I'm personally looking for a set of springs that provide the least amount of drop possible. I think I heard of some springs coming out with a 0.5" drop, but I can't be sure. I would be interested in that.

With Eibach's, you should only need a rear camber/toe kit. I was able to get the front aligned close to specs stock.

I have Eibachs with a SPC rear kit:

I looked at my front tires again, and they're not wearing all that bad. Early model 350Z's got this kind of tire wear stock (although that was feathering).

So I'm going to stick with the Eibachs because don't think my front tire wear is all that abnormal for "this" car.

I'm going to install the rear toe bolts and adjust the rear to have less camber. Then I should be good.

OP- if you're going to cut corners, leave it stock. it's not worth the trouble.

plus, the Z's ride height isn't that tall to begin with imho.

with the H&R's you will definately need arms..the closest i could get with the stock was -2.8...

.10 on one side and 0.6 on the other? i'd get that car re-aligned.

not sure why you're not showing trust angle on the initial with that much toe-out. hummm...

I was just noticing that my springs are settling in and I have some negative camber. I need to get an alignment and see if I will need arms. Swift Spec R here too...

Got mine aligned today. Camber: -1.9 each side rears and -1.2/-1.8 fronts! No camber kits! Woot!

Car looks awesome. So you just have one front corner out of spec?

I think I have -1.8 in the rear...I want less...the outside of my rear tires are barely touching the ground.

What are your toe settings?

Installed my SPC rear toe bolts over the weekend and got an alignment. I wanted a lot less camber in the rear. These springs are soft (to me), and the car squats easily in the rear. I'm extremely happy, and it's like I'm driving a totally different car now. I basically have the max camber in the front and the mininum camber in the rear now.

Details:
19x9 +24 255/40 (34 psi)
19x11 +24 305/30 (34 psi)

Full tank of gas.

Eibach Pro-Kit (0.9" F / 0.8" R)
SPC rear camber arms
SPC rear toe bolts (widened holes using #115 Dremel bit on speed 8).

Front Camber -1.4
Front Toe 0.03
Rear Camber -1.2
Rear Toe 0.09

With the camber where I want it, the toe bolts are nearly maxed out in the rear...and that's with the holes widened. I could do less camber...like -1.4 rear, and easily get the toe more straight. I went with this setup mainly because of the soft spring rates.
