Added GTSpec 6 point brace to add rigidity to a convertible. Jeffblue has provided good description of install. To add to my experience to the description, the convertible had two small brace section on the left and right that I had to remove to fit the GTSpec brace. I had not noticed these in previous posts. Maybe these are unique to the convertible? These are shown in 1st pic.
GTSpec brace fitted well, captive nuts worked out OK. I have been having problems with car tracking when crossing uneven surfaces in the road. The 1st drive maybe showed better rigidity. I did not scrape anything, but my car is not lowered. I have not crossed speed bumps yet. I will update when I have more driving. |
