killerbee, I found pics of your car I think. They dont look that bad, I would want lower, but how are they riding after the miles on them?

Indeed that's my car. They did settle a bit more after putting some more miles on them. They are still as tight today as the day they went in. I was actually really impressed with these springs.

BTW... on a side note, since I got my coilovers, I have my Tanabe springs up for sale. I'm just too lazy to put up a thread :p

The tenabe's are a progressive spring like the Eibachs correct? Do they have a higher spring rate?

I think it depends on which model of spring you are choosing for your car. The Max comfort springs(NF210) usually keep the spring rate the same or adjust spring rates accordingly. The Max agility springs(GF210), raise the spring rates a little bit, they claim 25-30%.

Thanks,
Mike

one thing to remember is tanabe springs tend to have a boat look where the rear sits lower than the front. it's their thing for some reason.

My problem is I had Eibach's put on, but because I have a sub box in the back (+120lbs~) in the rear of the car, it Squatted... I want to lower it, and was wondering if Coilovers with adjustable dampening is my only route, or if there is a set of springs that will hold the extra weight?

I can attest to this. As slight as it was, it did seem like the rear was a wee tad bit lower than the front. Since I run a 35 series tire on the front as opposed to the stock 40 series, it fixed any of that.

actually that would make the front wheel gap more pronounced vs the rear... :icon14:

Just a bit but with lowered springs there's not much gap anyway.

oh i see. that's cool then.
