z drivers with Eibach experience

hi to everybody,

i would like to learn from your experience something about the eibach pro kit.
my z is running with a lowering kit from eibach. in front 25 mm and rear 20 mm.
of course the car looks more aggressive with this stand but..............

in my opinion it feels very soft and running with high speed on highway doesnt make me feel save like in my BMW M3 which has lowering springs from H+R

but what is driving me crazy is that i scratch with the front lip realy almost everywhere. sounds horrible and feels horrible.

i am just wondering if all this usual or maybe something wrong with my springs or even maybe with installation. i am serious thinking about going back to the oem springs.

any advice from you is welcome.

thank you, tom

first off your oem dampers were not designed to be run on lowering springs so you're kind of pushing the limit of the damper capacity. it's too soft. also you're riding on progressive rate sprigns so the initial bump is mush. it would help if you run swaybars so that at least your turn-in response is better.

as for the scraping... that's expected if you lower your ride. this is one reason why im not doing it on my Z because it is already about as low as where my G35C is with prokits and d-specs.

welcome to the world of modding. :D hahaha

It looks like you are still running the plastic guards in front of your front tires. I took mine off, and that eliminated most of my scraping problems.

Sounds like you want a Linear spring. Kind of like what stock and Nismo Z's have. Maybe look into the Swift Spec R springs? But you might also look into the RS*R Down Ti2000 springs as they are Linear and lower 15mm (.6" in.) so you will not scrape as much :)
