Eibach sway bar set?
 

Has anyone tried them? Any comparisons to the hotchkis, whiteline, or stillen?

Nope, but the Hotchkis are great just put mine on last night. Will have real impressions at the track tomorrow but they firm the **** out of the handling. Also comes with nozzles to grease the bushings so you dont have to remove them and greaser up every year.

I got Eiback sways installed today. I drove a little and definitely felt the difference comparing to stock. The car is felt more planted for all four corners and positively less body roll during the turn and cornering :tup:. Both front and rear sways are adjustable. Here are the spec’s comparing to stock:

FRONT STOCK SWAYS are 26.5mm / 416 pounds per square inch

Eibach FRONT Sways are 32mm OD hollow tube with red color finished.
1st setting is 730 pounds per square inch
2nd setting is 900 pounds per square inch


REAR STOCK SWAYS are 24.3mm / 374 pounds per square inch

EIBACH REAR SWAYS are 29mm OD hollow tube with red color finished.
1st setting is 627 pounds per square inch
2nd setting is 741 pounds per square inch
3rd setting is 860 pounds per square inch

Mine is set for 1st setting on the front and 2nd setting on the rear.

I have Hotchiks and very happy with it, its a must more like a turbo setup for the suspension :) just felt at time it increased the understeer.

Only downpoint is that there are no setting in the front. Ebiach looks better but wait for reviews from different people before buying.

Sways are in my future as well. Wasn't sure if I wanted to keep the eibach springs on the car because They are so soft mainly in the rear, but I might keep them. I loved the way the full nismo s-tune felt on the 350....so I keep comparing to that. Definitely Would like to see more reviews on the different eibach sway bar settings as well.

Thanks, ClemsonWill. I'm probably the only Z with Eibach sways on the board. After driving for day I can tell you that the tires are more planted to the ground. It turns liked a go-cart. I am basically done with suspension mod and very happy with my current suspension setup. :tup::tup:

I just had my hotchkis installed this weekend. It feels really good.

I can probably compare the hotchkis with the eibach sway this weekend. If zero, let me test his car out. :D (just playing)

Here the specs for the Hotchkis.

Front Sway Bar
35mm (Ø1-3/8") Hollow
Hole 1 = 205% Stiffer than Stock 370Z

Rear Sway Bar
27mm (Ø1.063") Hollow
Hole 1 = 40% Stiffer than Stock 370Z
Hole 2 = 75% Stiffer than Stock 370Z
Hole 3 = 120% Stiffer than Stock 370Z

.....Anything is better than stock.

ncheung, you are right, anthing is better than stock. Are you planning for coil over? This coming Saturday should be a good test on suspension going through twists and turns. Yeah we can compare notes...you can drive mine and I can driver yours (J/K).

I was comparing spec's between hotchkis, eibach and whiteline. I ended up with the Eibach on price, quality, and spec’s. I want to reduce the understeer on my current rims and tires setup, bringing the z to more neutral. The Eibach front with the 1st hole is 175% stiffer than OE and the rear with 2nd hole is 199% stiffer than OE. This should reduce the understeer and if I need more reduce more I can set the rear to the 3rd hole.

I want to. I might get the coilovers that can be raised with a push of a button like the KW HLS because we got some nasty dips here in east LA.

On Saturday night, I went to the new AMC in Monterey Park. You should see the exit. LOL. Luckly, I shifted my exhaust tip all the way in that morning or else I would have damage my exhaust tip like my friend did on his lowered Integra. XD

And I got a 4 points ladder brace and 2 points rear brace, dont know if I should install them or sell them.

I got the Eibachs installed this past weekend, and I can definitely tell the difference. I'm running stock suspension, and the car definitely feels more planted and confident through corners and frankly even changing lanes (understeer is gone). I have the middle setting on the rears and aggressive setting on the fronts. Unfortunately can't compare to other sways...but no complaints after the first few days...

True...but if I'm not mistaken (which I very well could be), isn't the stiffer rear sway bar the main driver in reducing understeer? In regards to the front, I trusted Lou @ Amplified's recommendation to start w/ the aggressive setting. So far, she feels good though...

Correct. the rear will have to set to the stiffest setting. So you have the front on 2nd hole and the rear on the 3rd hole. I have the front on 1st and the rear on 2nd. I am running 305 tires on the rear.
