Camber Plates
I'm looking at the BC racing BR type coilovers. they mention having camber plates. What are these? do these allow me to adjust the camber to bring it back to near stock specs after lowering the car, or do i still need a camber kit/toe bolts etc.

The description where you read that was a generalization... A lot of applications that BC Racing Suspension makes coilovers for are able to be equipped with the front upper camber adjustments like you are seeing in the picture.... unfortunately the 370Z is not available with camber adjustments. Its physically impossible to have camber adjustments on the coilover on a 370Z, G37, 350Z, G35 etc. To get front camber adjustments in the front of a 370Z you will need an adjustable front upper control arm. |

What he said.
With the 370Z/350/G35/37 moving the shock mount position does not affect the suspension geometry as it uses a double control arm setup. To change the camber you need to lengthen or shorten one of the arms to move the ball joint position. The top arm is certainly the easiest so that is the one that has an aftermarket replacement. Those pictures are from a different vehicle with a MacPherson strut setup.

That's the first time I've seen their upper arm. I have a mixture of SPC and SPL parts myself.

Depending on how low you go you may not need the rear camber kit. I managed to get my rear camber to within spec with the stock adjusters.
Front camber arms are $400 ish, don't remember exactly. They were an easy install and can be done DIY by eyeballing the camber and then driving to an alignment shop. Install time < 1h. Sway bars are also < $400 and another fairly easy DIY. Install time 2h on the garage floor, 1h on a lift.

Okay, good to know.
I would go for the SPL arms now that they are out, they look to be lighter and may fit better than the SPC (which is actually for a G37 Sedan or some such).
