ARK PERFORMANCE INC: DTP Coilover Systems For the 370z

ARK PERFORMANCE INC
DTP Coilover System For the Nissan 370z

Track and Street Application.

For the 370z application, we figured that a lot of the tuners know that stiffer is not essentially better. You want your tires to be in contact with the ground at all times in order to gain much needed traction.

We put much emphasis on Compression and Rebound, Longevity, and Quality which is a new standard that we are setting in this industry.

We have already brought Coilovers and services to other models such as
Hyundai Genesis (sedan/Coupe), 350z, G35, S2k, Tiburon, Cobalt, NSX, and EVO. All in which we have made a reputable name for ourselves in the coilover market

All of our coilovers include:

Dyno tested
Stainless steel body / piston
16-way adjustable dampers
Pillowball mounts
Forged aluminum locking collars
Dust boots on all pistons
50mm piston-57mm piston housing
Anodized aluminum camber plates on front upper-mounts
Fully anodized body
Fully adjustable up to 2" lower
1 year Manufacturer's Warranty
Height adjustment independent of preload

Furthermore we incorporate features such as Seamless stainless steel monotubes, Forged lower mounts & proprietary nitrogen gas chambers

All ARK PERFORMANCE coilovers are rebuildable at our USA facility.

**Adjustable camber plates included on MOST vehicle front applications with Macpherson Strut suspension systems.

Note: We are also taking some semi-sponsorships for 3 units only. These coilovers will be given to you at wholesale specifically for marketing.

You know, when you type like it doesn't make you look very attractive from a business standpoint.

^ seriously. HAHA. What's ARK so proud of. The build quality on ARK is at best as good as Chinese coils from what I've seen.

Anyways what sets you apart from Megan, BC, Ksport, D2, and Godspeed?

:iagree:

TeamARK 08-26-2010 02:35 PM

They may look similar, but its the quality of the parts that make up the coilovers that we are proud of.

The brands that are listed are all made in China/Taiwan. We know all know that quality control over there can be questioned. The reason why these companies made name for themselves is justified by their price of the coilovers. We want to show the community a new standard of affordable coilovers. Having these made in house, we control all aspects of our production. Therefore, we are able to cater to specific needs of consumers that want coilovers that provides quality and improved handling without sacrificing comfort.

First I wanted to start by saying that you have it backwards. Quality control in Korea can be just as questioned if not worse than Taiwan and China. I can show tons of examples. but here is one
JIC Magic suspension is made in Korea,
I Broke My JIC Not So Magic Strut - NASIOC
Now this is the only brand that I have ever seen this happen to.
Not even cheap megans or BC.

No point in generalizing the way you are about Taiwan and China. I own a tool import export and manufacturing. I have tried to relocate our manufacturing facility to asia, I started with korea, but even with our management and business plan with only labor being done for some reason the products would come out skewed. Now I have it in Taiwan, this was several years back but then again. Again this judgement can be offensive to people. Not that I care much Im as white and redneck as can be. LOL.

It doesn't seem like you know much about suspension in general. And how do you revalve and rebuild in house without a shock dyno. It doesn't make sense.
I'm sure it will take you a while to come up with dyno sheets as well.

I can tell you this, just looking up shim specs and gas specs and rebuilding never will give consistent numbers. I can bet that all four corners of your coilover system has different dyno numbers.

As for quality- If you think just because they are not going to snap on us while we are driving means that they are quality, then your definition and ours are completely different. In fact everything you stated over in your description explains exactly what your coilovers are.... generic.
Everything you claim is just blind statements.

You can see the difference in build quality. this is for the S2000 coilovers, Megan also can be bought for 800 dollars and they have a one piece aluminum bracket, and Yours on the other hand is a helded bracket, which part of this is higher quality.

Finally this improvement in handling without sacrificing comfort. What does that even mean?

just my 2cents but i dont think its fair to compare that broken JIC strut to ARK just because they are both made in Korea..i've personally broken an apexi strut myself but dont go posting on forums that japanese struts suck..thats beside the point..bottom line is that somebody needs to slap these on and give us feedback..
