After the test drive it seems like there is a little vibration and its not me. Mainly comes around 60mph. I talked to my shop and they said alignment wouldnt cause vibration, but balance would. Would the spacers cause the wheels to become unbalanced while rotating? (if that makes sense) If so, how the hell would you balance them? Bolt the spacer to the wheel then put it on a balancing machine?

Here is an interesting revelation.... The studs that the spacer mounts too are hitting the inside of the wheel...





Could i use a cutoff wheel to cut about 1/4" off the studs to the wheel doesnt hit anymore? Or will i really be getting myself into trouble if i do that.

I'd swap the rear and front spacers. It will be better for handling anyway.

It could help, but those are your factory studs right?. I replaced my studs in the front and had bolt ons in the rear. I haven't heard of a fix for the vibrations (considering the install is correct). Like I said, I'm on my second set in the front and still have a minute amount of vibrations. i know its the spacers cause when I mount the rim without the spacers, I have no problems.

Ok, so here's what i did. I jacked the car up, took the wheels off, made sure spacers where torqued to at least 80 ftlbs, reinstalled wheels, but left the tire off the ground while i tightened everything instead of snugging then setting the tire on the ground. (had gf in the car hitting brakes)

vibrations are now almost completely gone.

It makes sense to me why this worked, but it's way too much to try and explain.

You don't have to cut the front studs. I also noticed that the stud does press into the wheel. But only a small part of the stud touches the wheel so the wheel easily compresses around the bolt. The wheel and spacer will sit flush. As I said before my steering wheel won't move at all at 70 mph when I drive on a smooth highway.
