twintube dampers and dual rate progressive springs aren't worth 4k+ dollars.
Hyperco progressive springs is a cost cutting design as stated on their own site. They make linear springs and multi rate tender springs for fine tuning for your intended weight. These generally cost 200-400 dollars more than a predesignated dual rate progressive spring. I know you asked who has it, but imo it shouldn't even be discussed for the price. Ohlins DFV dampers are not worth anymore than 3k as measured across other platforms like Toyota, BMW, VW. Last edited by MaysEffect; 09-04-2017 at 02:58 PM. |

I have Ohlins DFV with Hyperco springs on my car for about a year already, and my Ohlins TTX36 is being built by PSI now and should arrive in a few months.

I've been waiting for it for a couple months already, so hopefully soon I can give the review! iPhoneTapatalk

My TTX36 will come with its own main springs and helper springs. Spring rate on Ohlins TTX is usually much softer since the whole system works differently compare to traditional shocks or struts. I'm upgrading since I want to see how my lap time improves. On my partner's e92 M3 it was about 2sec improvement over DFV on our local 2min track. One of the bonus on TTX is that it's awesome on street as well, much more comfortable than even the stock suspension. iPhoneTapatalk

I use Michelin Cup 2 and Hankook Z214 depending on which class I run. The 2sec improvement on my partner's e92 M3 was on NT01 before and after TTX.
