Has anyone swapped out there OEM 370z Sport/Touring suspension w/ OEM Nismo 370z suspension?? Just seeing if their was a difference in height.

It should be around .4 inches lower.

Refer to the pic on this thread. The Light Gray Car has the Nismo suspension on it

Thanks for the quick response guys. I'm tempted but I'd rather just get H&R or Eibach. The roadster looks a little higher IMO.

Before I make a decision, I was wondering if anyone else had a pic of their car with this setup?

Jordo! 08-16-2010 07:38 PM

I have it, and while both look lower than base suspension, the rear is definitely lower than the front. I'll post a pic in just a minute...

EDIT: Actually, I'll have to do this tomorrow -- too dark to get a good pic.

But the ride is really good -- much stiffer.

^ No worries. Any updates on those pics?

Thanks,

No pics, but I put the nismo suspension on my Z and measured it and it was exactly to the non nismo specs from the service manual.

Sorry, I'll get one tomorrow... :o

Wait... so the ride height didn't change?

I could swear I have just under a .5" drop on each corner as expected

I would of thought if woulda lowered more then stock z

Mike 08-18-2010 09:07 AM

mine didn't change, well it did, but only because I had replaced an eibach spring setup, but specs were spot on with the service manual for me. Could be that I have slightly taller tires too though, as I run 295/255s now that I think of it.

I did measure mine but can't find the paper work with the measurements. The drop is as advertised when compared to stock OEM specs. (measured at the fenders) It wasn't much of a drop, which I wanted, but it really stiffened up the suspension and when combined with Hotchkiss sway bars ........ corners are flat, controlled, and can be taken a lot faster than with the stock OEM suspension.

So you've got nismo strut/spring, coupled with Hotchkis sways and you felt handling improved a lot, not to mention a minimal drop (.4")? Sounds very worthy to me.
