feel wise, yes they feel softer to me. even when we were installing them, the stock springs were very stiff when compressing them, where is the tein springs compressed a lot easier.

thats great johhny!

lil update on mine. went in for an alignment and the NTB said they didnt have the software for 2010 nissans??? wtf its August? anyways i tiold them to do it to the 2009 nismo specs..... dur.

well before the alignment i was eating up so much tire that i had LAYERS of black tire residue on my back bumber, sides, even coming out of the rear vents in the back bumper.

after the alignmnet which now has my front camber out of factory spec (which i figured) and my rears pretty much maxed out on the rears. (they couldnt get my passenger rear backt to spec...? ill go to another NTB soon since i think the teins settled even more.

note::: i have no spacers or camber kit as of yet, just the springs.

Just an observaion for the OP. I just installed a Nismo S-Tune suspension (from a Nismo Z) and I am sitting right above 28" front and rear. From the look of your Nismo on the before pics, it's sitting lower than mine. I even have Nismo edition wheels. (The cars should not be that different where they would be differend IMHO, but I could be wrong) And from your pics, the drop does not look 1.5-1.7" lower, so the 4.3" to 6" lower splitter (from another Nismo owner) is not a good indication of how low you went. I think you are at about an inch lower.. I don't know why I'm sitting so high.

Can you measure the ground to the wheel well arches front and back?

well i also stated that i have different size tires now with less of a sidewall... which also drop me more than just with springs... therefore how I arrived to 1.5" lower than stock setup... and you just told me i was only dropped an inch by looking at comparison picks??? I can tell you I'm definitely sitting more than an inch lower than before in the front.. i drive and see the car everyday. As to your problem with your Nismo springs I'm not really sure doesn't make sense you should definitely be sitting lower. I can measure later today and let you know the measurements on the wheel arches. Just order the teins!

Are you capable of making it over speed bumps with the new springs and tires?

Check out this link:

Chicago speed bumps vs. the Corvette Grand Sport - Drive, She Said

Chicago mostly has those speed bumps.

Then the alley ways have a ton of the smaller "destroy my side fenders" type of speed bumps.

I want to lower my car a little more but I am afraid that I will not make it pass those speed bumps.

I should go take pics right next to a speed bump to see how much room I have to lower the car. But the problem is all speed bumps are made differently lol.

Some of them are mountains. I have no idea why Chicago would waste so much money on these when it is only causing more damage then good.

No, I was referring to the lowest point on the front bumper. That would be the part that would scratch first before anything else.

Great look, I've ordered my Tein springs

I'll have to do the camber kit later, or when I find a good group buy.

Yes. Please do that, as that is the defacto standard for measuring the car.

I just measured my Nismo with stock suspension....

Front Wheel Arches - 27-3/4"
Rear Wheel Arches - 27-1/2"
(I have ZEnclosure & Sub in the trunk, so this might be fractionally lower than stock)

Front Lip - 6-1/2"
(although the shroud under the lip/engine is MUCH lower)
