got word back from nismo09 in the nismo section of our forum. he said with his stock setup his front splitter is setting at 6" at it's lowest point. Therefore with this complete setup it looks like I'm sitting about 1.6-1.7" lower than stock.

looking at my nismo i cant see how 10mm could work up front?? looks like it would rub over nice bumbs. have you noticed any rubbing in any situations, even with the bigger wheels?

thanks man
Nick

no rubbing whatsoever. actually I could go with 15mm up front. when you lower the car it tucks the wheels and tires into the wheel well

Don't take into account that the Nismo is lower as you are replacing the Nismo springs with the Tein. The Nismo springs are what lower the car, not the model of the car. :P If you were to throw the Nismo springs on a regular Z it would lower it 0.4"

Im not sure who ur directing this towards? I know the nismo springs give a .4" drop. I was just saying with the different tires and the Teins I'm now sitting 1.6" lower than i was with my stock Nismo springs. sorry just a lil confused about what u were trying to say or who you were saying it to.

Sorry, I took from your post that you thought the ride height was different besides the springs. The Nismo Z has lower springs, so you'll still be getting .9" front and .7" rear after installing the Tein springs on the Nismo Z. So do the math and subtract that from the .4" you already got there. LOL But I think the difference is the tires really. Nice setup though. Get an alignment? I wonder how off the camber will be. I kinda want to do the same thing as you. Lookin for a set of Nismo s-tunes myself

I went in for alignment but their software only had a regular Z suspension setting so I had to come home and dig up the Nismo settings here on the forum. They printed off my alignment specs as they were after the install and I'm not too far off in the rear but the front needs a lil aligning to get it into spec. Not sure if I'm gonna have to get camber arms or not yet. We will see how close they can get it to spec without em. Even tho I'm outta spec right now car still seems to ride and handle quit well. I'm going in next week for alignment so I'll update afterwards.

Went in for alignment today and car can't be put into spec with stock camber arms so a camber kit is needed for front and back. Ordered mine from THMotorsports this morning. Here on the forum for $509.
