Eibach

Just a headsup, the production of eibach springs will be started next week. I will be taking in my car to get the lowering kits (both sport and pro), sway bars and coilovers plus more prototyped...!! so just gotta wait a lil bit and the final product will be done! :driving:

Its been a week. Did you get yours installed? How is the lowering spring, and when will it come out?

Minicobra1 02-26-2009 04:28 AM

Yeah, curious on these myself, I've had Eibachs on 2 other vehicles and they were pretty decent, for the price.

!xoible 02-26-2009 11:54 AM

coilovers? or just spring/shock pair?

DJcuetip 02-27-2009 01:36 AM

I am picking up my car tomorrow I believe they are just making a proline kit.. not sport.. because he told me they did the sport line on the 350z (sport sits lower then proline) and the ride is too inconvenient with the car to low...

coilovers will be in production soon but not now because they dont have enough man power right now to work on it.. but will be done in the near future. i will let you guys now when i hear details.

DJcuetip 02-28-2009 02:36 AM

Just got car back I will tkae pics when I get the time to.. looks good.. and damn when the car is lowered... it really shows off the rear fenders... the rear fenders make the stock rims looks small and just wraps around them... it will definitely look better with wider rims

DJcuetip 02-28-2009 02:39 AM

o yeah the front is not as low as they wanted.. so i will be taking it back in next week to get the re adjusted springs for the front back on.. i will post pics asap

speedworks 02-28-2009 03:15 PM

Yes, lets see those pics. I have used Eibachs on various cars and have really enjoyed their quality.

Very nice dude :bowrofl::bowrofl:

I have few questions,

1) I am guessing the drop is about 1 inch of front and back?, Therefore, I am assuming there is NO NEED for camber kits?

2) What kind of bulb did you get for your headlight? It looks so nice because its blue color...!!!!!

speedworks 03-04-2009 08:09 AM

Looks good, a little difficult to see the gaps from the night pics. Awaiting day pics. What is eibach doing to lower it? Hopefully it is a full redesign vs just a cutting of one coil.

Minicobra1 03-04-2009 10:14 AM

What's your initial impression on ride quality? do you think the stock shocks have enough rebound damping to handle these springs?

One thought I had was to purchase the Nismo shocks/springs and use the Eibach springs with the Nismo shocks as opposed to going with a more expensive coil over set up. The Nismo shocks should have stiffer damping.
This could turn out to be a pretty affordable street set-up.

DJcuetip 03-04-2009 01:28 PM

Hey guys fiirst off the bulbs are the stock bulbs!!..

the ride quality is great!!.. you can definetly feel less roll and drve a lot more aggressively.. i dont know much about shocks but from the feel of it i think the stock ones work just fine..

eibach also made sway bars for the car, but i am awaiting for the final product so i can fully test out the suspension. Also the coilovers are coming soon in the future estimated to start in a month or 2

370z4Steve 03-04-2009 02:04 PM

proportioned wise hard to tell exactly but the back seems lower than it should.

DJcuetip 03-04-2009 04:13 PM

i think the back is perfect.. the front is a lil higher then it should be.. they are adjusting the spring as i speak around .4-.6 inches

!xoible 03-04-2009 04:48 PM

man ur such a tease. those pics arent the best man! i cant see where the gap is, all i can tell is ur stockies are so tiny now, and the front is high? :D

cool man keep us updated (with day-time pics please)

speedworks 03-04-2009 08:50 PM

DJ, how are they 'adjusting' the front springs?

DJcuetip 03-05-2009 02:08 AM

i believe they are re doing the whole front spring.. changing the compression rate and everything. When I took the car to eibach they tore apart the suspension and did measurements on all of them.. I will here from them within the next couple days..

Minicobra1 03-11-2009 04:20 AM

DJ, any new updates?

BurntGauge 03-11-2009 11:53 AM
