SWIFT Springs in Production

The milder the drop the easier this decision will be for me...I can't wait

I actually wish they'd come out with some Sport Springs at the same time. The 370Z chassis is already low as it is. I'm used to slammed 4 door sedans, couldn't imagine having my Z that low.

Hell the stock wheel gap/ride height on the Z is already better than the drop/stance on my Evo X with Tein S.Tech springs! A mild 0.4" drop would be perfect for me.

Definitely my case as well. I've been holding off because i don't want a 1.2" drop on my daily driver in socal, especially with the car that low as it is. A .5" drop with non-jaw breaking spring rates is what I'm praying either RsR or Swift start manufacturing.

noted..perhaps they will release a sport option with a less aggressive spring rate/drop like they did for the 350z..

If you guys are wanting that mild of a drop the Nismo springs I believe give you a .4" drop which sounds about right, dont' know how much a set runs but... and I'll be posting some pics soon of my Tein S techs I installed which is a fairly mild drop... I believe .9"front and .7"rear on a stock Z.

yeah the stock Nismo susp is a .4 drop..HOWEVER it is not the most compliant setup out there..kinda harsh.

Yea understandable... I have to say my Teins ride much better than my Nismos did atleast with the small inconsistencys in the road, however the large bumps is another story ouch

That's $1000 though. And for 10-15% increased spring rate, I'd rather keep the stock springs if the NISMO ones really are that much more harsh.

I trust in Swift to get the Sport Springs application right.

Thats Nismo springs and struts... thought we were just talking springs which I believe you can get a set on ebay for a lil under $300.

Yep, but I wouldn't want to pair the NISMO springs with the stock struts, honestly. And I definitely would never buy used springs. The Swift springs will be tested on the stockers, so I'd rather go with those if we're talking about pairing a set of springs with the stock struts.

I hope the drop is near the Eibach, or just a tad bit more so I can get away with stock hardware for an alignment.

I received an update from Swift via email today:

The drop should be about 1 inch all around.

And the spring rates are 10kg front and 10.5kg rear.

We are not going to be releasing the Sport springs. We are going straight for the Spec R's. They are faily aggressive rates and are going to be very performance oriented. They will be comfortable enough to be daily driven.

They are going to ready in a month and a half.
