Not true. I swapped out the eibachs with neuspeed/h&r and the ride was perfect again on same shocks. Eibachs are known to have this problem (atleast in the honda/acura community) and i was one of the test dummies that found out the hard way.

I've had a very good experience with H&R's with my S2000 with stock shocks. Drop wasnt extreme however, <1" drop.
I was leaning towards Eibach with the 370, but with the reports of the springs going/feeling soft after some time, I've decided to drop the car properly and go with KW coilovers. I originally was going to go just KW V1's with just height adjustibility, but in instead of taking my chances with not liking the ride dampening, decided to go KW V3's. I hadn't considered H&R's for the 370 since the the drop just looks too extreme for the roads up here in Canada. I'd probably be scraping all over the place! |

ironically the neuspeeds i installed in my prelude many many years ago was bouncy as hell and undulated under moderate driving conditions. this was on a car with less than 3k miles. quickly swapped them out for TEIN HA's which were considered new and cool at the time.
you really need to look at the spring rates, linear or progressive, and amount of drop, amount of bumpstop you cut or replace, and your wheel's offsets (wheel rate) to get a sense of what to expect. on that note (i dont plan on lowering my Z with lowering springs but) what is the spring rates of the stock springs? that is where i would start the search if i was looking for springs. |

I think you are wanting to go with a Linear spring on the 370Z. I am going to try RS*R Linear springs Ti2000 from the 350Z, they claim a .6" drop and Front Stiffness: 6.2kg/mm (345lb) Rear Stiffness: 7.5kg/mm (417lb) so hopefully they do well! I'll let you all know soon.

I used to own a speed shop, and distributed both of those products, and they came from different places - different owners.
Actually, I was commenting that they were the same company, which I don't think is true. Sure maybe Neuspeed has H&R make their springs, but they aren't the same company, which is what I was questioning. I did a quick search and found nothing that said they are the same company. damn....maybe i'm off then. but they were some how affiliated for sure in the past. Like kenchan said, i remember back in the days when they were manufacturing each others' parts even if it was for a little while. Thanks for the clarification.

tanabe's and the eibachs will give you the most bang for the buck. Both companies have good quality as well
