so correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the bottom bar is separated from the top triangle piece? Is that a good thing? Something tells me its not but I'm not a handling expert.. anyone care to chime in on that?

Personally i would tie it in... I like the two main bar idea... but tied together like a "k" truss would be good. Or bowing the bottom bar so that it is pre loaded and transfers energy to the top "triangle" structure. Either way... again the loads will never deform this thing... unless you decide to drive off the damn empire state building.

Thanks guys. I'd expect the price to be high, so I'm trying to hint that to Top Secret with the hopes that they'll keep it cheap. Keeping my fingers crossed... just hoping it doesn't cross into the quad digits.
I'm partial to the Zele too. This one seems like it has a lot going on. It's still not in production yet though so consider this a prototype. I'd like to see all the bolts out of there, or a cleaner attachment alternative. -Mike Bratcher |
