are brake pads the same between sport and non sport?

the whole brake system is different, so no.

Nissan carries a different part #, but carbotech said they might be the same size?

no they are not

As others have said, they are different

Sport model is using 4 pots front,2 pots rear brake calipers,
whilethe non sport are using 'floating' calipers

Note to self.. .don't buy from Carbotech if they don't know this.

becareful this time of year cause you got college kid summer part-timers working at shops and some of them literally know NOTHING about cars and modding.
