Dropped on H&R. PICS
I installed H&R springs yesterday and figured i would post pics of its stance for anyone thinking of going this route can get an idea of how low it goes.
These were installed by Amplified Motorsports. Took the guy exactly 1 hour and 45 min tops. It was a smooth install. Ride is very much like OEM, but it handles better. I am not using any spacers or camber arms for now. The front has about 1 finger and rear has 1 1/2 to 2 fingers tops. I dont think it will go any lower, springs should have settled by now. I did notice that the flaps now scrape alot so those might end up coming off. Overall im satisfied with the springs. http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...0/IMG_1524.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...0/IMG_1523.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...0/IMG_1521.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...0/IMG_1522.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...0/IMG_1517.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...IMG_1518-1.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...IMG_1519-1.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...IMG_1520-1.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...0/IMG_1525.jpg http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/z...0/IMG_1526.jpg |
Looks good. The rubber parts may compress a little bit more.
|
nice stance! Do u kno how long it takes to settle? After the springs are settled do u need to do alignment agian?
thanks |
Looks good. I think I would do some spacers on the wheels.
|

I'm going with the fact that the aftermarket wheels stick out farther than the OEM 19's. So, being that the stock 19's are further in, there is less light and viability shown on the gap so it isn't as noticeable.
Either that or the aftermarket rims are sitting on lower profile tires. |
This drop would definitely look spot on with spacers. How's the rear camber look? It's hard to tell from the pics.
|
holy crap that's low just to be lowered on springs... probably running off bumpstops. :D

you may not need a camber kit. i just got my alignment on friday and they set it at -2.5 in the rear without a camber kit. saved me some money
|
im really considering these instead of coilovers..its kind of hard to see the gap in the pics due to the shadow line..do you have any pics in direct sunlight at the wheel gap?..thanks!!
|
no but i will take some today. It might be hard to see because of the color of the car. but i will try my best. :tiphat:

Perfect drop man! Much better than Eibach IMO
Any weird noises coming from them? |
Drop with H&R is better then Eibach. Also in the german car tuning world, H&R has a better rep for quality then Eibach!
