Default KW Adjusting height

just wanted to confirm this..

Made sense to me as to compress the spring, but after adjustment, seemed like my suspension was 1/4" higher on 2 turns..I thought I'd give it a few days for suspension to settle, but still the same..

So I guess I was told wrong?
