Brakes Squeaking
I just noticed my rear breaks start squeaking after a drop on H&R springs and spacers. The Springs were installed before that spacers and there was no squeak but after, it began to squeak. If i take my car to the dealer do you think they will void my warranty for these mods? If so what should i do?
Helpp!!

Do you mean the rear brakes squeal when you slow down? Or you hear a squeak when you use your parking brake? If the dealer can't find the problem they can easily say your mods are creating the noise.

Who installed the spacers? Did you use the bolt on spacers or the stud replace kind? If you brake much harder does the squealing go away?

they are stud replacement. No if i brake harder it keeps squeaking. the installers were not the best. should i take these off and buy the bolt on ones?

For the stud replacement spacers you have to disassemble the rear brakes by removing the caliper and pads and removing the tensioner, spring and drum shoes. Sounds like they didn't put everything back together quite right. I would have it checked but I don't think you could get it by as a warranty issue.
