Talking Pics | Alliance Big Brake Kit

Just got the delivery of these BBK's. The boxes were hella beat up by FedEx but all the parts were in good shape. So that's good! Anyways, the calipers are super light weight...lol... was surprised by that. This kit came with the calipers, rotors, SS lines, pads and mounting pieces. It's ready to go.

These will be installed at the same time with some other parts, maybe next week.

Mike at Blackline Motorsports was great to deal with

Front: 15" rotors and 8 piston calipers
Rear: 14" rotors and 6 piston calipers

Nice! I think that's the same kit that Bullitt's running. It caused his ABS to go into icing mode though. Hope it doesn't do that with yours.

Very Nice looking, wish there were 3 bolts instead of 2.

Ben we arent sure what caused the ABS issue. Like we discussed during the test there are alot of variables we needed to sort through before we make a judgement.

Yes, my car has an "ice mode" issue... We are unsure if it is the weight of the wheels, my braking style, my suspensions setup, the pads I am using, and or many other items that could be helping to contribute to the problem. I changed road surfaces and the car was just fine... also, I had just switched the rotors the night before without doing an extensive bedding process and tried to quickly due one in 5 mins. So there are way too many variables to make any kind of judgments on what my car is doing.

nogood Enjoy your BBK you will love it!

Yeah you're right. I should have said that it may have caused the icing issue. Sorry, my bad.

Don't use the EBC Blue pads on the street if that is what they came with. They are far too aggressive and not designed to work in cooler temperatures. I would go with EBC Red, Mintex Red, Mintex Extreme or equivalent.

EBC Yellow is pretty good too. I used it on my 350 with a Stoptech BBK.

Yes, if you do a mixture of street and track then the EBC Yellow is a good choice as well.

Could you take some pics of the rotor veins to show whether they're directional or not.

The finish on those is so beautiful it's almost a shame you'll actually have to put them on the car.
