I would just leave it alone and cover it with glue once it wears far enough down to expose metal.

That pic is exactly what my tire scrapes on. That stupid protrusion. I have KW V3 out of box settings. Lowered 1.5 in in front with 20 mm spacers. I'm thinking of changing the compression and that might help as well.

I actually cut that bumper tab off. :icon14: That fender liner piece is hanging out in my trunk. When I get home, I'll take pictures of what I had done on the front. All it involves is a fender roller (or fender finishing tool in my case because I didn't have the tools necessary to remove that bolt on the hub to secure a fender roller on) and a box cutter.

Do it soon please

Uhm.. I apologize, but I don't have the best picture taking skills. Hopefully the message gets across though. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask haha.

In the third picture, you can kind of see where I relocated the bumper tab. The fender tab is actually bent in, the tab on the bumper cut off, and it's relocated to the location above. Kind of hard to explain. And it seems like I cut a large portion of my fender liners off, but it's not that bad in real life. I'm just horrible at taking pictures especially since the angle was pretty bad because I didn't have time to take the wheel off or at least turn it to the side.

Yes, I also realize I desperately need a car wash haha.

dude my rubbing is gone and i noticed that all the plastic tabs are gone too. lol

OMGWTFBBQ 07-16-2010 06:43 PM

Haha nice! That works too. :p

kevr6 07-16-2010 07:57 PM

Wow! I don't seem to rub on that at all. Strange! Must be road condition differences then.

Bster 07-17-2010 03:15 AM

I don't rub either... and I've gone through quite bumpy roads here due to road constructions.

The only "issues" I have is scrapping the front under spoiler.

OMGWTFBBQ 07-17-2010 03:33 AM

Rubbing can be due to a bunch of reasons. Spring rates, dampening settings, wheel width, wheel offset, tire size, etc.

I'm currently running 18x10 +15 in the front. :ugh2:

AndyZ 07-18-2010 03:59 PM

i droped 1.5~2" ive got missing taps (rubbing little bit?) but thats it
never heard rubbing sound from my car
