ok, apparently there was a hiccup back during the initial testing phase, and now they've upgraded certain design and tested it on the G35/37 (I believe they said this G was on the Long Beach Spocom show couple weeks ago):
and I believe they're still looking for a 370z, let me know if anyone is still interested, contact me for the details. Thanks! |

they broke on mike's car, so he bought a different set since he needed them for racing.

Wow, I'm sorry for sounding a little harsh but I never can understand why any parts makers or companies intending to sell a new manufacturers products (ESPECIALLY a product as important as suspension parts) do not test things like this themselves, on their OWN cars (especially an unproven/ untested product) This is just ridiculous to me.
Its like saying, "Here, try this out and let me know if you live to see the next morning" That doesn't say a lot about how much a manufacturers trust their own products, or how much parts sellers care about their end customer.... Sorry for the rant, this is just one of my pet peeves. We ALWAYS test EVERYTHING we sale to the public ourselves (on our own cars) on the track and on the street. We at RA have even turned away the right to sale a few (money making) products that do not meet our standards, and in turn we only sell products of manufacturers whom agree to our testing and their parts meeting our standards first. We feel you should have to believe in what you do, and what you sell.... Again, sorry for the rant, just trying to keep it real and hoping other follow suit |

nah, nothing like that. shock mount weld failed while the tech drove it around the block after the install and before the alignment. No damage. Got tein monoflex instead. They have since sent me pics of the updgraded weld.

There is just NO excuse good enough for things like that, that's crazy. I am in no way a fan of any Tein products either, but at least you won't have to worry about them braking right away... Mike, with the Tein monoflex the worst you will have to deal with is imbalanced and improper shock valving and inconsistent spring rates, LOL Hahah Just messin' with ya (kinda) As it should.... I meant no big deal as far as hurting the car. I did have to pay twice for install and corner balancing though

These sound like pieces of ****. I was reading on an Evo X forum where they were soliciting testers, and they claimed they are basically identical to Blitz ones. From your experience, I somehow doubt that...
