someone was just being lazy or careless in reading the part number, but I can see where the mistake was made.. In all fairness, they have been nothing but courteous and have been mailing to hawaii something that weighs 50lbs 2nd Day air,..and that is not cheap,.. My gripe is that I just havent been contacted personally and had to follow up on my part to get results, but for everyone else that is on the mainland would probably get better service/results due to the shipping issue. I found out today that they have prepaid the FedEx back last Thursday (again something that no one contacted me about; they said they sent me email??) and that I have to pack up and drop off to FedEX to send back the wrong Coilovers I got ,...they said that my correct coilovers are on the way, or as they say "Cross-shipping"... It was a good price and 2nd day air to boot for free on the shipping, so I would still give them all a chance....we all make mistakes.. |

ups/fedex ground also takes 3 days to arrive and much cheaper on their part to ship, too bad we don't have the ups/fedex ground option to the mainland

It will fit but the g37 is heavier so it needs different springs.

You would have to ask the maker if it will be ok I'm sure the store will say it's ok. Even though the g37 and 370z are very similar, two versions of the suspensions are made. I'm pretty sure the springs are different not sure if they change the dampening of the shocks.

abakja1,
Sorry to hear about what you are going through... both KW and the distributor should have been in better communication to you about all this. NewYorkJon34, Not only should the springs be different between the G37 and the 370Z coilover kit, the shock bodies should be different too (longer). The G37 is a bigger car and its suspension mounting points are a bit higher off the ground thus it will require a longer shock body than the 370Z to be right. At least that is how most quality coilovers do it. I am sure that the G37 coilovers will physically bolt on the the 370Z, but it might sit higher and be out of the height adjustment range it was designed for. Good luck to you both Last edited by Scott @ RA; 04-28-2010 at 01:17 AM. |

yeah it bites,....but I was told to expect a package on Tuesday....
Actually the above threads about the G37 and Z being the same part number and part is true....it is actually why I was given the wrong part as the G37 ended with the same part number as the Z....problem was the middle numbers dont match and I ended up with CO for a 240z,... |

KWV3 for 370z: 35285007
KWV3 for G37: 35286003 If anyone needs to know, the SPC camber arms are the same part number for the G37 and 370z. (72260) That's weird you got different coilovers...lol Those brakes are history.... paperclips...lol Last edited by nogoodname; 04-24-2010 at 04:12 AM. |
