I dont know how i got to this but i started searching up coating materials and stumbled upon titanium nitride which is used on drill bits, shines in a similar spectrum to gold (the material) and very heat + scratch resistant (it IS on drill bits). i didnt want to simply paint it so i thought of ideas. anyways i thot it was an interesting idea and i just wanna for everyone's 2 cents on this.
