Brake Caliper Switcharoo

Is it possible to move the front Akebono sport calipers to the rear (with rotor swap) if one is replacing the fronts with a BBK? Seems like there could be issues with the whole parking brake assembly though.

Definitely not a possibility for the above parking brake issue and the mounting brackets themselves. And I am sure there would be other issues as well

Parking brake is entirely separate mechanically, but obviously the front rotors wont fit on the rear because there is no drum hat.

So at a minimum you would need a custom mounting bracket and a custom rear rotor (unless you just reuse the stock rear rotor).

Would be some expensive engineering for these cheap parts.

yea, parking brake isn't an issue, but the mounting space between the caliper bolts is different on them.

F it then. I'd just get new rear calipers too. Thanks for the info.
