It was so cheap I had no reservation cutting mine up to my liking.

I couldn’t believe I could buy anything 9xx GT3 for so little lol.

This is actually what Essex parts recommended for brake ducting with their brake kit. The stuff that was offered for the 370z was more of a restriction than anything and it only cooled one side of the rotor.

Do you have a pic of how you set it up? So clamped it to your sway bar?

Based on what i've read - yeah, cooling just one side is bad. Might be worse than no cooling at all because uneven cooling leads to stuff breaking

But does the brake deflector cause the same issue? It's less directed than a proper duct going to internal vanes, but it's still just going to the inside
