SuperPro Eccentric UCA Bushings

Does anyone know what the process is to adjust the camber with these bushings? https://www.suspension.com/spf3297k Not interested in aftermarket UCA's as I already have a new OE set. I was

Default SuperPro Eccentric UCA Bushings

Does anyone know what the process is to adjust the camber with these bushings? https://www.suspension.com/spf3297k

Not interested in aftermarket UCA's as I already have a new OE set.

I was going to replace the rubber bushings with poly/delrin static bushings to extend service life. So it's either the static units or the eccentrics going into the OE UCA's, but if the eccentrics are going to make an alignment significantly more money or not hold the setting I'll just get static's.

I appreciate any experience you can lend.

The upper control arm bolt gets offset in the bushings, so depending which way you rotate the bushing sleeve, the upper control arm bolt is located further inboard (more positive camber) or further outboard (more negative camber). There is the risk of the bushing sleeves rotating resulting in changes to the camber settings.

For $150 more you can get a set of z1 upper control arms which are fine for street use and can be more easily adjusted with more range of adjustment. Less risk or alignment slipping as well

Why won't you just get SPL FUCA's and be done with it? If you don't need any adjustability just leave them bone stock. Nothing wrong with that.

Agreed. Not sure what OPs suspension setup looks like but I’d say leave OEM or get a proper FUCA set

I was assuming the sleeve would have to be rotated, definitely not friendly for the alignment tech. I'll simply get the static bushings or Z1's on sale. Thanks!

One article that I read about the new Z said it has more caster due to different upper control arms. I wonder if we could run the new parts on the 370z

I was reading a article yesterday regarding SEMA that Nissan is already using Nismo suspension parts from the 370z on the "400", namely FUCA's, tie rods, end links, rear camber links, mid links, and traction arms. So it seems the base arms you are referring to with added caster will work.

Nismo will have a 6/4 piston brake kit with larger slotted rotors and optional $450 pads out early next year which would be interesting if it fits the 370. Road & Track tested the pads in the base brakes on the track and raved about them. Also for the 400 will be a coil over kit with rebound adjustment, adjustable anti roll bars, LM-RS1 wheels intake, larger intercooler, stainless exhaust system, clutch and flywheel designed to hold 800 hp, carbon mirror caps, carbon steering wheel trim, AL fuel filler and oil filler caps and titanium shift knob.

They are SPL FUCA's. They don't come on factory cars. The Nismo brakes are Stoptech. Are they going to come on a factory car, I doubt it.

Ah yeah now I see the Nismo FUCA's are silver where as the SPL's are black. Cheesy way of Nismo (Nissan) making money.

After looking at several types of static bushings I'll most likely go with the Whiteline's as it seems the metal outer bushing against the metal UCA will be less likely to squeak like I've read about with full all poly etc. units.

NO one want's us to know it's the same dimensions etc. Want to brand to each model and reap the profits.
