Intermittent Power Steering issue
So I have an intermittent power steering issue in which when I first crank the car and drive it, there is no power steering. Then sometimes after a long drive, I get back in and crank it up and magically the power steering comes on and its good again. Then I cut the car off, and its gone again.
Here is what I have done so far: 1. Replaced the power steering pump 2. Replaced the pressure switch on the power steering pump. 3. Replaced the power steering control module behind the glovebox. Not sure what is left that I can try? Anyone else run into this before. Wiring looks fine( 2012 370z sport). No leaks of power steering fluid. So weird how sometimes it comes on and then sometimes it totally shuts the power steering off and its hard as F to turn the car. |
I’m assuming u don’t have any “whining” noises from the pump that would indicate low fluid?

The FSM (link in my sig) may have some trouble-shooting tips.

If you've replaced the pump, switch, and control module... wiring's about all that's left. Unless you have damage or a pinch on the lines somewhere... |
