Exactly this, or
You can just disregard the critique...be a man...shell out some money...then have some things wear down...then shell out some more money... OP, like I said, I didn't mean to offend you. I know suspension in general is expensive, but modding cars isn't cheap to begin with. With regards to what you are trying to do, there are multiple threads and posts with exactly what to do. I'm saying this because I just went through the same thing. What JerryDeluxe commented is your best best. There are so many others on here who have provided their trial and error on here. It would be a disservice to yourself by not learning from their mistakes. We aren't critiquing you, we're legitimately trying to tell you exactly what to do and how to save your money. If you really want to save some money, skip the Konis for now. Go with the Swift springs, but you will 100% need rear camber arms, front upper control arms, and the eccentric lockout kit at the very least. Most people will tell you to go SPL for the brand. Again, if you want to save money you can go with SPC. The more expensive, but proper way of lowering a car will be going with coilovers, but not going to get into that. Again, plenty of threads on that. For people who are saying they didn't know anything and going with cheap stuff to learn the hard way - that doesn't make sense to me. I didn't know anything either, but you can read and research and have a much better foundation to move forward. That doesn't mean I still didn't make mistakes, but I knew enough to ask the right questions and look for information in the right places. Also, if you are not in a rush, you can save money by being patient and waiting on things to go for sale on eBay, Mercari, Offerup, FB Marketplace, 370z classified, etc. OP, here are some things you will need. Up to you regarding budget: One, and done: https://www.z1motorsports.com/spring...34-p-9074.html https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspen...4559ca5285024a https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspen...4559ca5285024a https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspen...508919f1677696 https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...1342a397b93995 Good enough for now: https://www.z1motorsports.com/spring...34-p-9074.html https://www.z1motorsports.com/contro...699be82ede8a4e https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspen...1342a397b93995 DON'T FORGET AN ALIGNMENT. FYI I have SPC rear camber arms for sale. Last edited by babyzilla; 03-29-2022 at 10:22 AM. |
