Will stiffer springs help me?
I have rubbing issues on my front from bumps/dips on highway and shitty city roads. I'm pretty sure its because of my ride height and fatter tires. I love the settings I have now but want to stop the rubbing because I just got a new bumper and don't want to mess it up . If I want to fix the issue and keep my current setup, not raising it, not buying smaller tires, not getting more camber, will swapping to stiffer springs help?
I have Hipermax IV GT, 265/35 front tires, like 1 finger gap, maxed out dampening on the Hipermax, pretty neutral camber around -1.5degree. |

Front 19 x 9.5 +22, 265/35/19
Rear 19 x 10.5 +12, 305/30/19 SPC front upper control arms. SPC rear camber arms and toe bolts Previously i had more camber and was riding lower than now. Pictures is raise + more neutral camber. I would like to lower the height just a bit more. |

I want to lower my car or maintain current height, not raise. Running pretty standard TE37 specs, what coilovers are you guys running with TEs and how low is your ride height without any rubbing? |

I'm running a 20 x 9 +22 front with 255/35's. My ride height is 26-7/8" and 20 x 11 +25 rear with 315/30's and ride height of 27" and get no rubbing. At 26-1/2" ride height front and rear, I got rubbing over certain bumps on the front so I raised the ride height of the car approx 1/2"

Change your camber in the front or raise it up. No other choice. If you go to stiffer springs. You have to change your dampening.

I don’t mind stiffer springs because I feel the GT is pretty soft. And since my dampening setting is maxed out I have a lot of room to play with on stiffer springs. But will it not rub or less rub

Throw a giant bump stop on it, or throw some 2000 pounds spring on it. Lol

I found the HKS Hipermax IV GT coilovers to have overly-soft spring rates (10k/9k). I considered going with the HKS Hipermax IV SP, which has rates of 14k/16k, but ended up choosing Powertrix Ultra-Lite coilovers (13k/11k rates with optional Swift springs). Having said that, you should consider just adding a bit more camber up front. Camber won't kill your front tires. That results from excessive toe.
