Default Eibach Pro Kit / Z1 FUCA question.

I installed my Eibach Pro Kit spring according to the instructions with the lettering right side up. This puts the compressed part of the springs at the top. I've also installed the Z1 adjustable Forward Upper Control Arms. To do some of the adjustments you need to remove the chassis mounting point bolts. To do this I have to remove the struts because of the compressed springs in the way of the bolt removal.
Has anyone mounted the Eibach springs upside down, so that the lessor compressed section is at the top. Will this impact the ride or use of the springs.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Progressive wound springs normally have the tight end at the top, unless otherwise noted. Your instructions are telling you to install the tight end on the top.

You bought the wrong front upper camber arms. Everytime you or a alignment tech has to make an adjustment. The arms have to be removed. Should have bought the SPL arms and be done with it. They don't have to be removed to make adjustments. There is threads on this. Should be a sticky made on it.

Default

Z1 also had at least one defective run where the arms wouldn't stay locked

return them or throw them away

get SPL

throw the springs away while you're at it and get coilovers
