OP, for the record, there are people that buy the cheapest blanks from the cheapest auto store and run those on the track all day long - they just have to replace them more frequently. Some people get them cryo treated to stand up to the heat better (these are the frozen rotors Hotrodz refers to).

You asked nicely so here ya go. First hand experience, stock sport brakes work even under the harshest of conditions. Lighter and or slotted brakes have down sides too. I use Frozenrotors blanks because I track the car. Repeated 135mph to 70ish and zero problems.
